This is my typing score for Wednesday 17th June. I can type 38 words per minute. My goal is to be able to type 40 words per minute. This practice will help me to be fast and accurate when I have to type during learning time.

MY PERSONAL PROFILE Talofa lava my name is Moana and I am 10 years old. I go to Saint Pius X Catholic School. I am in the best classroom, Room 5. I am the 2nd oldest in my classroom. I am a year 6 student and I play netball at the AMI center. I have 3 sisters and 2 brothers. Their names are Cherish, Tiffany, Stephanie, Tyson, Maui. My mum and dad’s name is Phyllis and Adrian. My pet’s name is kettles. The person I admire is my Papa. I admire my Papa because he was never mean to me and would give me everything I needed. The things that I am good at is being kind to people. My favourite subject in school is writing because I don’t think that much when I write. My learning goals is to get to level 32 in reading. My favourite singer is Tori Kelly because she is good at singing and she is glamorous. My favourite band is Clean Bandit because they do their own music video’s. I like to play netball because it is a very strict game and I am strict.My favourite food is my mum’s butter chicken because she doesn't make it too spicy. When I come home from school I like to play minecraft on my Xbox 360.

Milk Presentation

Our presentation is about why milk is good for us and why it is good for us to drink. It is also about how it gets tested and how they test it. The most important thing about it is how it is processed.

Triathlon

Did you know last Friday we had triathlon? There were three teachers whose names are Adian, Lance and Gray. There was also Room 5 and room 3.

We were also on the field by the playground. The activities of the triathlon were swimming, biking and running.

We first slid on the wet slip’n’slide.

Next we biked around all the flags on the field once and then all the way back.

Then we had to run on the prickly grass. It was fun because everyone was cheering for us.Some people had stitches like I do and I think some people should have controlled themselves better.

Did you now my friend Mikaela could not do the triathlon because she had a broken arm?
We were there at 11:00am to 11:45am Monday to Wednesday.
We had lots of amazing fun in the lovely bright sunshine.

Some of the children were sobbing because their friends come last. Children were just competing to get fitter. I liked triathlon because it was entertaining to me.

About Me

Did you know what happened in my special weekend? It was the funniest day of my entire life because my cousins came over. Their names are Puppy, Brianna and Stevie-lee.

At night it was so cool because we had pizza. My sister is called Stephanie. But my other sister the oldest took off with Stevie-lee. Then we started to drift off to sleep while we were watching a scary movie but it gives me the creeps to talk about it. Also at night Puppy and Brianna would have happiness it’s cuter when they do it but I bet you can’t even look at mine for five seconds.

When it was the next day well as I say the next, they all got dressed but never realized that I had gone with my sixty one year old Nana.

When I came back we my sister and my cousins played hidden go seek for like one hour but then the fun just began….. WE HAD A WATER FIGHT.

About Me

Hello. Did you know my name is Moana? I am eight years old and I come from a big family. But a very sad thing happened during the year our uncle Thomas, my brother Maui and our beloved dog died and it still is a sad thing. Back to the story my family’s names are Tyson, Daddy, Mummy, Granny, Papa, Stephanie, Cherish, Pahira, Tiffany, and the one we lost Maui.

Now I will tell you a little about me. My face is round and bright. I have red brown hair like autumn leaves and brilliant sparkling eyes that are brown and inquisitive.

The things I like to do are swimming like a fish and writing about adventures.

Catholic Schools Day

On the 21^st of May we had St Catholic Schools Day. It was all Catholic Schools birthday!

The people that were there were a few of St Joseph’s school from Orakei.

We were at St Pius X Catholic School. All of the St Joseph’s came by bus. Some of my friends thought that they walked but I did not think that they walked.

We all had a shared lunch on the field and we shared our friendship together. After we finished lunch we went to the church. I was scared at once because the girl looked like a vampire. Then it was time to rock the house and party. But it turned out a little… boring. It was a little like a syntax error. After that it was time for them to go home. I was a little sad because I never got to find my buddy.
